Reproduction en dynamique, peux être trop ?
Il y aura trop de bass pour certains, fonctionne mieux avec mon marantz 8000 qu'avec mon nad 352 "vintage"
Je conseille pour ceux qui aiment le rythme où même pourquoi pas un dj, il bouge quand même pas mal.
J'aurais aimé des horloges plus haut de gamme et des op-amp dédié pour le velours.
Bref tu en a pour ton argent mais ce n'est pas parfait

Excellent VALUE (SOUND) for the money (Topping E70V)
I bought this DAC in Dezember 2024 at AUDIOPHONIC.

PROS:
Excellent packaging and fast delivery.
Unboxing:
Due to low outside temperature, I waited for the unboxing 24 h after delivery (problem is condensation of cold equipment in warm rooms: ) Then everthing was all right as reported in the packing list.
Installation:
I use a DAPHILE SW with(old WIN7 labtop PC with I7 processor and 12 GB RAM and new installed SD-harddisc since 2021.
I use the DAPHILE upsampling process 44/16 to 192/24 with internal volume control. So i am able to control the SW via a LENOVO tablet (2 applications have to run at the same time on the tablet (DAPHILE in Browser to select playlist and PLAY-FROM-RAM-Mode and SQUEEZER for volume control.
Easy Plug-and-Play with DAPHILE. No driver needed.
I use chinch output of the DAC , which have to be selected with remote control (RC).
The delivered USB-cable is a little bit stiff, but sounds better then old USB-cable of Pro-Ject DAC DS even in 192/24 mode. I was suprised.
Filter options (PCM-mode) after testing i fixed F-4 as best.

SOUND impressions: (after one week of intensive checks)
I'm using electrostatic loudspeakers ES300 and DIY dipol bass in my special symmetic layouted listening room:
- strong low bass - very controlled much better then before
- upper bass - more controlled
- mids - charming voices, focused in the center.
- soundstage - very deep and wide impression,
- hights - awesome bells and pecussions, very airy.

Never heared DOORS-Raiders on the Storm with such emotions.

Others:
Bluetooth is working with my smartphone, but not important for me.
Both Digital Inputs have'nt been tested - no use.
CONTS:
No battery for the remote control supplied. (2x AAA)

Conclusion:
May be there is a better DAC available, but for me the measured specifications and the sound are excellent.
Before I read a lot of reviews in the internet.
Now I have choosen the best choice with the TOPPING DAC E70Velvet.
I recommend this DAC for AUDIOPHILES,

Beaucoup de qualités ! De la matière, du détail, son holographique...
Ce DAC Topping E70 Velvet AK4499EX a beaucoup de qualités.

Attention! Attendre au moins une semaine de rodage car pour moi les aigus ont été très problématiques au début au point de gâcher la globalité sonore. Puis ça s'est vraiment calmé, aussi ne pas hésiter à baisser le volume. -6dB pour mon système et l'aigu est moins dure.

Mon avis :
-La focalisation de la voix est excellente, les détails sont là mais pas exagérés, elle est nuancée, a de la matière ou “poids” et je me suis habitué à ce côté légèrement plus haut perchée que la Consonance CD120 Balanced.
-Les basses sont bien tenues et détaillées. Un solo de basse m' étonné par rapport à la Consonance tout en gardant les variations d'attaques, le touché... c'est plus détaillé.
-Une batterie est nette, dynamique.
-La spatialisation des divers instruments est très bien.
Tout comme la voix, un instrument peut être aussi bien détouré.
-Des effets et instruments qui sont plus en retrait sur la Consonance, s'entendent mieux ici.
-C’est donc détaillé mais sans en faire des caisses.
-Le côté dit holographique est bien présent et ça, c’est magique pour des musiques plus intimiste, tout comme la Consonance.
Pour un ensemble acoustique, les instruments sont très bien reproduit et détourés.
-Testé sur toutes sortes de musiques du classique au métal, il s'en sort très bien.

Télécommande simple d'utilisation tout comme le DAC et un afficheur simple et lisible à distance.
En acier brossé couleur silver. Il me semble solide, rien ne bouge, ni bruit suspect quand on appuie dessus avec la main.

En comparaison avec l'excellent Consonance CD120 Balanced, c'était difficile car je lui trouve aucun défaut. Et ce DAC m'a convaincu, je retrouve beaucoup de qualités similaires mais un son global différent. Sans doute que ce DAC est plus transparent et le Consonance est un charmeur.

Conclusion: TRÈS SATISFAIT, je le recommande, tout comme l'équipe d'Audiophonics qui me l'a conseillé par rapport à mes envies et ils ont visé juste, un grand merci !
