PURIFI 1ET400A module

The amplification circuit uses its own PURIFI 1ET400A module. This high performance Class D amplifier circuits offers a very comfortable power of 200W (@ 8Ω) while making the most of Class D amplifiers high efficiency rating.

The 1ET400A module has a >75dB high gain loop over the entire frequency band, providing high performance across the whole spectrum and surpassing any amplifier regardless of its class.

Thanks to hyper-low intermodulation distorsion (IMD) the AP300-M400ET achieves incredible precision over the whole spectrum, unmatched by audio amplifiers of any technology or operating class.

THD remains extremely low at any frequency and any power level right until clipping. This translates into a total lack of sonic signature, and an ability to reproduce any type of music without preference for genre or production style.

Power Module Hypex HYPEX SMPS600N400

SMPS600N400 switching power supply is a model with very high maximum output power of 600 Watts. It has been specifically designed and developed by Hypex to provide 2 x 65V voltage required for operation of the most demanding amplifier modules.
This low noise high quality Power supply, meets every energy needs of the amplification modules. Furthermore, the amplifier modules themselves have an excellent ability to reject power supply noise. The AP300-M400ET has lowest sensitivity to the variations of your electrical network liable to cause parasitic noise.

Audiophonics Interface Card

The amplifier module Purifi is driven by a controller module of our design.

A Audiophonics OPA1656 per channel is used, these are very low distortion AOPs offering the greatest transparency with a very low THD. They are mounted on socket allowing their replacement if necessary

To suit all applications, we've opted for four gain settings, switchable via jumper on the underside of the unit.

Connectivity

Designed for easy integration, the AP300-M400ET has balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) mono inputs. A bipolar selector switch makes it easy to change the input source.

On the output side, a pair of BP-207 carbon gold 24K Ø5.5mm insulated terminal blocks provide an excellent connection to loudspeakers and support bare cables (5.4mm), banana plugs and forks.

Merveilleux
J'ai combiné ces amplis avec un préamplificateur Gustard P26. Le tout fait fonctionner mes enceintes Jean-Maurer 370F à la perfection. Dès les plus bas volumes, le grave est bien présent et plaisant. Un punch et une clarté fabuleuses accompagnent toutes mes écoutes. La reproduction d'un orchestre symphonique n'avait jamais été aussi large et détaillée dans mon salon. Il va sans dire que les petites formations jazz et les voix sont parfaitement restituées.

Un pur bonheur pour un investissement représentant moins du quart de mon amplificateur AB de 500 W. Ce dernier a soudainement trouvé une nouvelle vie dans mon chalet. C'est à la montagne que je pensais installer mes nouveaux blocs Audiophonics. Mais après quelques minutes d'écoute, il était devenu évident que la classe D allait prendre sa place dans mon système audiophile principal. Un immense bravo à Audiophonics pour cette très belle réalisation.
