Furutech offers with the HF-X-NCF a high-end HDMI cable, compatible with 4K/8K 48Gbit/s and incorporating the know-how and attention to detail of the brand.

The body of the connectors uses the brand's NCF (Nano Crystal Formula²) material, which eliminates electrical and mechanical vibrations, as well as noise derived from static electricity. This results in a particularly stable and clean transmission for incredibly accurate sound and a rich, vivid image. NCF is a crystalline material that has two "active" properties. First, it generates negative ions that eliminate noise. Second, it converts thermal energy into far infrared. Furutech combines this material with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder, for their superior damping properties by piezoelectric effect. The resulting NCF material is the ultimate electrical and mechanical damping material. In addition, the connectors are α (Alpha) treated, the brand's cryogenic and demagnetization process, to promote stable and optimized transmission. The contacts benefit from a thick gold plating.

The cable itself is also optimized thanks to the use of very high quality materials. The conductors are made of silver plated and treated OFC copper α (Alpha), with a section of 26AWG. Each conductor is individually insulated with a high density polyethylene sheath. They are then grouped by two in the heart of an aluminum foil shielding preventing static electricity and EMI. Then comes a second shielding in double layer aluminum foil to block EMI, FFI and RFI, then a last shielding in braided copper and treated α (Alpha). The whole is finally covered with a flexible PVC sheath, having passed UL/CL3 flame resistance tests and conforming to the RoHS directive.

The HF-X-NCF supports high bandwidths of over 48Gbit/s and is compatible with 8K 60Hz and 4K 120Hz resolutions. It also supports HDCP 1.4/2.2/2.3, eARC/ARC, HDR10/HDR10+, VRR/60~240Hz, DSC, QMS, QFT and ALLM standards and technologies.
