This 3m-long optical HDMI 2.1 cable supports high-definition video streams up to 8K 60Hz or 4K 120Hz, with a maximum bandwidth of 48Gbps, and is compatible with CEC, 3D, HDR 10, eARC, DDC, EDID and DHCP 2.2 technologies. It uses fibre optic conductors, allowing transmission over long distances without interference, combined with tinned copper conductors. A general shielding repels any interference that might alter the signal passing over the copper conductors. The connectors feature gold-plated, oxidation-resistant contacts with a zinc alloy body that also reduces the risk of electromagnetic interference.
