The iBasso AMP12 is a balanced amplifier card, designed for the iBasso DX300 / DX320. It benefits from a totally discrete architecture, both on the voltage and current amplification stages. Its input stage uses a special circuit that converts the signal into a positive and negative balanced analog waveform. The voltage is amplified by a circuit based on a symmetrical transistor. This allows to reach a very high cut-off frequency, for a better restitution of the high frequencies and consequently an extremely detailed sound.

The output stage uses a special design, equivalent to a Super Class A amplifier, with the characteristics of a Class A amplifier as well as offering a very low quiescent current. The use of an auto-zero transmitter helps to produce particularly deep bass.

The voltage feedback of the AMP12 adopts a double negative feedback loop, a DC gain loop feedback and a partial AC feedback. This method increases the electrical stability of the circuit and reduces the distortion of the transient response. An architecture that ensures high neutrality, lower noise level and high transparency, combined with a wide sound stage.
