DIY Box for Power Amplifier

This housing, which is mainly intended for the integration of an amplifier - but also suitable for many DIY projects - offers high design quality. Designed in black and silver brushed aluminum (front) and machined CNC, it ensures a long durability and an effective protection of your components.

In addition, it is pre-equipped with a push button and a front panel potentiometer and a stereo RCA socket, a speaker terminal (stereo) that accepts the banana plugs and a power connector (IEC C14). All you have to do is integrate and solder your module.

Potentiometer not supplied. Only the associated button is delivered.

boitier de bonne facture, mais bouton trop petit
Le boitier est de construction correcte, sans rayure ou défaut esthétique gênant, mais le bouton d'allumage est d'un diamètre significativement plus petit que le trou de la façade, et l'interrupteur fourni a un peu de jeu latéral. la description du produit évoque un "bouton potentiomètre" : pour préciser, le bouton est fourni, le potentiomètre non. Le trou dans le bouton est de diamètre de 5,9mm avec une vis de serrage ; il ne sera pas possible d'y insérer un potentiomètre d'axe métallique de diamètre 6mm.
La visserie est adéquate pour fixer les connexions arrières et les facades . Le boîtier ne dispose pas de pieds.

Precise and easy assembly with all the part that you need, but ...
I've got this one because I hate drilling holes in aluminum. Unfortunately, some drilling was inevitable: volume pot oppening is not made for Alps RK27, so needed to fix this. Included binding posts are set for 12mm oppenings but the openings are 11mm, so more drilling on the back. Other than that, it is a pretty good box with all the part that you need for the piece of mind. Binding posts are good, so are the RCA connectors. I'd give it 5 stars should it not have issue mentioned above.

très beau petit boitier
Très belle finition, fourni avec tout ce qu'il y a sur les photos; Tout est de bonne qualité. Le dessus, le dessous ainsi que la face arrière alu font dans les 2mm d'épaisseur au moins avec une belle anodisation. Fourni avec pléthore de vis en tout genre pour aller avec ce boitier !! Le tout pour moins de 30€ !!
