The HPA-S250NC is a large single mono dual amplifier designed to meet power and precision requirements. Based on a duo of Hypex NCore NC250MP modules, this Class D amplifier is extremely efficient thanks to two switching power supply units with synchronous regulation.

Like the vast majority of amplifiers based on NCore amplification modules, the frequency response is independent of the load and electromagnetic interference is strictly controlled, significantly limiting distortion and noise. The HPA-S250NC will therefore be particularly appreciated in all conditions requiring high amplification power while maintaining a high degree of neutrality in signal reproduction. It will find its place in a professional studio as well as in a private home for high fidelity listening.

Two NC250MP Mono modules

Each channel has its own Hypex NCore NC250MP amplification circuit, capable of delivering no less than 250W each. They are characterized by a flat frequency response regardless of impedance, almost totally frequency independent distortion, very low EMI radiation and a very low noise level. The control is based on a self-oscillating loop controlled by phase shift, taking into account the feedback at the output of the loudspeaker.

The SMPS power supply integrated in each of these amplifier circuits ensures high efficiency and synchronous rectifier control on the main output rails. As the power supplies are specific to each NCore module, the sound scene is refined and the dynamics preserved, without causing any additional distortion.

The internal wiring used to build the HPA-S250NC amplifier includes OCC Copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5mm², in order to benefit from excellent conductivity and preserve all the subtleties of the signal and, in short, the quality of the sound reproduction.
