Dual Nilai500DIY modules

Each channel of the Audiophonics HPA-S300NIL features its own Class D Hypex Nilai500DIY amplifier module. These, integrated in a stereo architecture, ensure exceptional sonic performance, and enable the development of significant power, with no less than 300W per channel at 4Ω. Each module features high-end components, including a totally discrete buffer stage and high-quality voltage regulators, as well as a brand-new control loop technology. The result is a drastic reduction in distortion, noise and output impedance, enabling the HPA-S300NIL to reveal a rich, precise sound with a wide soundstage.

Switchable RCA and XLR inputs

The HPA-S300NIL features dual input connectors with two RCA ports (dual mono single-ended) and two XLR ports (dual mono balanced). The RCA connectors are 24k gold-plated with heat-resistant plastic caps. The XLR connectors are from Neutrik, and feature a high-quality design with metal locking latch.

A two-position selector switch makes it easy to alternate between XLR and RCA inputs. So you can connect two different preamplifiers and alternate input sources.

5-12V Trigger

A double trigger socket (input and output) brings the convenience of an automated and particularly practical power sequence to your entire audio system. The power input is via an IEC C14 socket. This is fitted with a 5x20mm 6.3A fuse (supplied and pre-installed).

Effective heat dissipation

As a high-power amplifier, the HPA-S300NIL is, quite naturally, subject to thermal stress during use. Heat management is therefore of paramount importance, both to maintain amplification performance and to ensure excellent durability.

The chassis, entirely designed in sand-blasted aluminum, is equipped on its sides with two imposing radiators capable of efficiently dissipating heat. In addition, carefully distributed ventilation holes promote air circulation and heat dissipation. The heat sinks also contribute to the amplifier's solid, modern aesthetic.
