Amplifier Board Stereo Class D for Raspberry Pi 2x20W 4 Ohm
The HiFiBerry AMP2 is a small Class D stereo amplifier module for Raspberry Pi. It allows to develop a power of 2x18W under 4Ω. Conveniently, the AMP2 powers the Raspberry Pi itself, so the latter does not need to be powered independently.
A 12-18V power supply is recommended for use with 4Ω speakers. A higher operating voltage is only recommended for 8Ω speakers. In all cases, 18V is still the recommended supply voltage.
If your playback software does not offer AMP2 as an output option, you can select the HiFiBerry DAC+ driver.
