2.1 Amplifier Module Bluetooth 2x68W + 1x150W LM3886 with Tone Control
This amplifier module integrates a dual power supply circuit allowing the design of a 2.1 system with Subwoofer. It is capable of delivering 2x68W for the left and right channels and 150W for the Subwoofer output. In addition, it includes a Bluetooth 4.2 chip allowing audio files to be streamed directly from a smartphone or tablet.
The amplification circuit for the left and right channels is based on two Class AB LM3886T power amplifiers. These amplifiers allow to develop 2x68W under 4 Ohm while ensuring an excellent Signal / Noise ratio higher than 92dB. In addition, the LM3886T incorporates the SPiKe system, which provides protection against overvoltages, undervoltages, overloads, power supply short circuits and temperature peaks.
On the subwoofer output side, the amplification is provided by a pair of discrete transistors Toshiba 2SA1943 and 2SC5200, a combination that provides 150W of power dedicated to this subwoofer output. A large energy reserve that allows the reproduction of deep bass. The module also includes two Omron relays to protect your speakers.
The module includes 4 ALPS16 potentiometers for adjusting volume and tone. There is therefore a first potentiometer for the general volume, a second for the subwoofer volume, and the last two to adjust the low and high frequencies of the left and right channels. This allows you to adapt the sound reproduction to your listening and system. These tone and volume controls are based on a series of 4 AOP 5532DDD mounted on DIP8 and therefore interchangeable.
While the connection of this amplifier module is simple, it also includes a Bluetooth 4.2 chip. This allows you to simply stream Bluetooth audio files from a smartphone or tablet. In addition, the Bluetooth version of this chip provides high transmission rates and high signal stability for unaltered playback.
Note: It is essential to associate this module with a radiator in order to properly dissipate the heat released by the transistors. Transistors 2SA1943 and 2SC5200 must be isolated from the radiator.
