This Class D amplifier module is based on the use of a TI TPA3255 amplifier chip. This one allows to deliver a comfortable power of 2x160W under 4Ω (1% THD+N) or 2x80W under 8Ω (1% THD+N), and those with an efficiency higher than 90%. The architecture of this chip also allows it to maintain a very low level of distortion over the entire frequency band, while offering a precise and detailed restitution. The TPA3255 is associated here with a heat sink, allowing to dissipate efficiently the heat emitted by the chip.

On the analog input side, there are also two NE5532P AOs. These are mounted on DIP8 brackets and can therefore be easily replaced, in order to adapt the sound signature of the module. The module also has a filtered power supply, using two Nichicon 2200µF 63V capacitors to provide the amplifier stage with a clean electrical signal.
