The CxD500 requires a differential supply voltage in the range of +/-62V to +/-86V for the power stage, a low power differential voltage of +/-18 to +/-28V 20-30mA for the input stage, and a separate voltage, referenced to V- with the value in the range of 16V to 25V at 40-50mA for the driver stage. The suitable power supply for a single module > 500W on 4R is the SMPS600RxE, also suitable for two modules delivering 300W on 8R.

If a Connex power supply recommended by the manufacturer is not used to power the module, then it will require three power supplies. In this case, it will require, in addition to the +/-VCC power supply, additional +AUX, -AUX and Vbias power supplies to be distributed on the AuxSupply connector.
