This Class AB amplifier module allows to develop a consequent power of 2x 125W in a compact form factor. It is based on the use of 25C5171, 2SA193, 2SC5171 transistors (four transistors in total), IRFP240 and IRFP9240 power MOSFETs and a UPC2581 voltage amplifier chip. It benefits from a careful design with a protection circuit for loudspeakers using a UPC1237 chip and Omron relays but also Siemens decoupling capacitors and metal film resistors with a tolerance of 1%. This architecture allows to provide a high power while promoting a clear and detailed sound reproduction.
