Class D 2.1 Amplifier Board TPA3116D2 DSP Bluetooth aptX 2x50W + 1x100W
The TinySine TSA7800B module is a 2.1 Class D amplifier, capable of delivering a power of 2x50W + 1x100W. It also embeds a Bluetooth 5.0 AudioB receiver, supporting the high quality aptX transmission codec. In short, the TSA7800B is a combined card integrating an amplifier, a DAC and a DSP. Its amplifier stage is based on a pair of TPA3116D2 chips. It can be used with any 4Ω or 8Ω speaker (the subwoofer channel can accompany a 2Ω speaker).
The onboard DSP is an ADAU1701. It allows to adjust the parameters of each channel separately. Moreover, the module is TWS compatible, so several of them can be coupled to extend the audio system.
The module includes three buttons to control the volume level and the current playback. It is however possible to connect a more complete external control module.
Pinout :
The default DSp program mixes the RCA and Bluetooth audio signals and sends them to the amplifier. If you want to manually select the RCA or Bluetooth input, you can connect an external switch to this port and load a different DSP program.
It is possible to connect a 10k potentiometer to the TSA7800B module to take advantage of a volume control.
The TSA7800B integrates a DSP, it is possible to modify its settings. To do this, it is necessary to use the USBi JTAG Sigma DSP programmer (sold separately).
The basic DSP program integrated with the module mixes RCA and Bluetooth audio streams and sends them to the speakers. The DSP setting offers the possibility to select the audio source via an external switch.
.
Several TSA7800B modules can be wirelessly connected to each other using the TWS mode. The buttons below give access to the TWS functions.
