The Tynisine TSA7804C SPDIF amplifier module is a DSP amplifier module with 4 channels of 50W each. It's based on an SPDIFBee receiver module that converts the signal to I2S for transmission to the ADAU1701 DSP chip. This module thus combines the functions of amplifier, DAC and DSP for great flexibility. Thanks to its Class D architecture based on a TPA3116D2 amplifier chip, it can deliver 4x50W of output power continuously and simultaneously. The module's power supply range is 12V to 24V DC. It can be used to drive any 4Ω or 8Ω passive loudspeaker.
The TSA7804C features an SPDIFBee input module for converting an SPDIF signal into an I2S signal. It accepts sampling rates from PCM 16bit 44.1kHz to 24bit 96kHz, thanks to a BurrBrown DIR9001 chip, and conversion is performed by a Cirrus Logic CS8421 chip. I2S conversion offers a 16bit 48kHz sampling rate.
The DSP part of the module is based on an ADAU1701 chip, with a default program already loaded. With this basic program, you can adjust gain, bass, midrange and treble on each channel. Moreover, if you wish to program the module yourself to include your own functions, simply use TinySine's USBi Programmer (sold separately), which will allow you to include functions such as crossover, bass enhancement, multiband dynamic processing, delay compensation and more. Despite the presence of a port for connecting buttons, this function is not supported on this model. However, you will still have access to the volume control port, to which you can connect a TSA 1300 potentiometer (10K) (sold separately) to control volume.
