The TinySine TSA8802D amplifier module combines Class D stereo amplifier and DAC/DSP functions. It can deliver power up to 2x 100W, thanks to a TPA3321 amplifier chip. DAC/DSP signal processing is carried out by an ADAU1701 chip, enabling it to support streams up to 24bit 96kHz via its Toslink optical input (TOSLINKBee receiver). The TOSLINKBee receiver module converts the optical signal into an I2S signal, which is then processed by the ADAU1701 DAC/DSP chip before amplification. A stereo RCA input is also available on the module.
The ADAU1701 DSP chip features a preloaded program for adjusting gain, bass, midrange and treble in the Sigma Studio DSP program/interface. A debug port is available for Sigma Studio. To access advanced features, users can program the TSA8802D module via TinySine's USBi programmer. Advanced functions available include equalization, crossover, bass enhancement, multiband dynamic processing, delay compensation and more.
The TSA8802D amplifier module is powered by 12V-30V DC and can drive passive loudspeakers with 2 ohm, 4 ohm or 8 ohm impedance.

Please note that the external button port is not supported on the TSA8802D module.
The TinySine TSA8802D module features a dedicated port for connecting external potentiometers (5K - 20K) and controlling volume, bass, mid and treble. If you wish to use external potentiometers, TinySine offers a potentiometer KIT for this purpose, to be purchased separately.
Please note: to use external potentiometers, the module's DSP program must be updated to the version for external potentiometers, which can be found via our download tab.
To load a new DSP program, you need a USBi JTAG DSP Sigma programmer. The default DSP program loaded on the module can automatically select either RCA line input or Toslink optical input, with priority given to the optical signal.
The TinySine amplifier module also features gain adjustment via DIP switch. The following settings are available:
