Mono Amplifier Board 100W 70V/100V RMS for Distributed Speaker Systems
The Wondom CVA-1100 is a 100W amplifier module, consisting of a power section and an amplifier stage. It is primarily designed for distributed speaker installations, such as background music systems. It is capable of delivering 70/100V RMS continuous power without the need for an output transformer, thus reducing the footprint while improving the frequency response and distortion level. The module's output can be connected directly to the distributed loudspeakers, greatly simplifying installation.
In addition to its constant voltage mode used by default, the CVA-1100 can operate as a constant resistance amplifier board and thus drive an 8Ω speaker. The CVA-110 features high reliability and stability, guaranteed by a complete protection circuit, perfectly applicable to demanding commercial and industrial applications.
The CVA-1100 can be powered over a wide voltage range, from 90VAC to 254VAC. It supports standards from 110VAC to 220VAC without any problem. The module is equipped with industrial quality connectors. It also provides two gain levels, 37.7dB and 32dB. The output voltage is determined by both the audio input voltage and the gain level.
To make the CVA-1100 easy to use, the module is equipped with control buttons. In addition, the power and amplifier sections can be turned off independently. The CVA-1100 also supports the half power mode, which when activated reduces the output voltage of the power supply stage from ±72V to ±56V to ensure lower power consumption.
External LED ports are also provided for better monitoring of the system's operating status. The LEDs correspond to power, signal detection and protection mode indicators.
Keeping in mind the strict requirements of a distributed loudspeaker system for reliability and stability, the CVA-1100 was developed with a complete protection circuit (OTP, OVP, UVP, DC voltage protection) to ensure stable operation over time. In addition, each module passes a series of HASS and HALT tests before being stored.
