The JAB4 is a 4-channel amplifier module featuring Bluetooth 5.0 and an ADAU1701 DSP for an all-in-one audio solution. Based on a TPA3118 amplifier chip, the JAB4 can deliver 30W per channel at 8Ω. Thanks to its DSP, it supports programming via the SigmaStudio PC software after connecting to a Wondom ICP5 module (sold separately). This software allows access to functions such as volume, gain, frequency adjustment or the use of equalizers.

In addition to its 4.0 operation, the JAB4 can be used in 2.1 mode at 2x30W + 1x60W or in 2.0 mode at 2x60W. The speaker output is done on Molex connectors. A connector also allows to recover the audio signal in I2S format. The input is done in Bluetooth or on a single-ended line input. The Bluetooth of this module supports the high definition codecs aptX, aptX HD and aptX LL. A port allows the connection of an external antenna (sold separately) to increase the distance and stability of the transmission.

There are also four connectors on the JAB4 to install potentiometers to easily control the gain level or the tone.

The JAB4 can be powered by a conventional power supply or by a battery module (sold separately), which is convenient for building a compact and portable system. In addition, the JAB4 is able to detect the input signal to reduce the power consumption of the module. If no signal is sent to the JAB4 for 5 minutes, it will go into standby mode. When a signal is detected again, the module will automatically and instantly turn on.
