S28ND04RD

The MD150CR04 is accompanied by an SD28ND04RD Tweeter. This is a high performance model that covers a wide frequency band. It incorporates a 28mm treated silk dome, fixed to a voice coil with aluminium support. The loudspeaker motor has a large Neodymium ring (56mm outer diameter). This motor allows to obtain an intense and linear flow. In addition, in order to increase the permissible power, the air gap is ferrofluidised.

Also worth noting is the magnificent façade made of die-cast aluminium, which avoids parasitic vibrations. It also benefits from Athom's ADP (Anamorphic Dispersion Patterns) technology, allowing better off-axis dispersion and also limiting parasitic reflections at very high frequencies.

At the rear, the damped cavity optimizes the Tweeter's low frequency behavior. Like the LD150CR04, the core has a copper ring to limit the creation of induced currents in polar parts. The frequency response is characterized by excellent linearity, low directivity and an extension greater than 30kHz. This complex and meticulous design makes this speaker an exceptional model, offering fine reproduction, high efficiency and very low distortion rates.
