The optional Eurus SWB-X active bass channel is an alternative to the Eurus SW-X model. Like the latter, it is designed in every respect to "extend" the Eurus 1.0 bookshelf loudspeakers. With its small volume and perfect integration into the initial structure of which it becomes the pedestal, the bass-reflex load carries an S250 amplifier module coupled to an LD230CRA04. Equipped with the latest refinements, this unit pushes the limits of what can be expected from a loudspeaker of this diameter. Its specific alloy cone offers perfect rigidity in a wide bandwidth and under the strongest constraints. Peripheral suspension and spider, the result of extensive studies and simulations, provide a very wide range of linear excursion as well as perfect dynamic stability. Its impressive 156mm motor (FWI Technology: Force Without Inductance) gives an uncommon sensitivity level (90dB/2.83V/1m) for a "sub" application. The associated electronics propel this superb unit up to +/-20mm of excursion. The unique performance of the loudspeaker, the optimized bass-reflex load and the unconditional control of the applied signal (Class D power stage / X-Guard technology) allow to restitute the extreme bass (32Hz @ -3dB) with strength (11dB SPL RMS @ 1M / channel) and velocity. Thanks to its exceptional capabilities and active processing, the Eurus SWB-X connects in perfect symbiosis with the Eurus 1.0 to form a high level system.
