Audio Technica's ATH-M30x closed dynamic headphones are an improved version of the ATH-M30 and ATH-M35. The ATH-M30x boasts greater clarity and better sound isolation. It offers faithful reproduction of the original signal, with clear highs, precise midrange and well-defined bass. Versatile, affordable and of high quality, it is also suitable for professional use. It features 40mm diameter transducers, a frequency response of 15Hz - 22kHz and a sensitivity of 96db.
Quality transducers
The ATH-M30x's transducers are designed with a neodymium magnet and a CCAW (copper-coated aluminium) voice coil. Thanks to the 40mm diameter transducers, the soundstage of Audio Technica's headphones is wide and detailed. The CCAW coils ensure a perfect tonal and vibratory balance.
The ATH-M30X's wide range of applications
Despite its affordable price, the ATH-M30x rivals much more expensive headphones in terms of performance, with sound reproduction adapted to studio standards. It's the ideal companion for recording instruments and vocals, as well as for production and mixing. Its sound-isolating circum-aural design also makes it suitable for DJs working in noisy environments.
Comfortable, practical headphones
On the left-hand side of the headphones is a 3m-long soldered cable with a Jack 3.5mm termination. Foldable and lightweight, the ATH-M30x is easy to transport. The padded earpads and headband make them particularly comfortable for extended listening sessions. The headphones can be rotated by 15°, making them flexible. A Jack 6.35mm adapter is also supplied to extend connectivity.
