Aune SR7000 Closed-Back headphones Ø50mm 55Ω 106dB 5Hz-44.5kHz
Aune's SR7000 are closed-back circumaural headphones with Ø50mm MLD (Multi-Layer Distributed) dynamic drivers. Its design, combining a composite ceramic diaphragm and flexible suspension, enables it to offer a frequency response ranging from 5Hz to 45,000Hz. Furthermore, the SR7000 benefits from innovations such as the use of acoustic metamaterials in the rear cavity and the special positioning of the drivers, resulting in a very wide soundstage, with exemplary spatialisation and a timbre devoid of the resonance usually found in closed headphones.
Aune SR7000: Ø50mm dynamic driver
For its SR7000, Aune has developed a brand new Ø50mm dynamic driver. It features a W-shaped composite cone made of ceramic-reinforced polymer. This new driver is optimised using multilayer distribution compensation (MLD), enabling it to vibrate across the entire frequency band, with good extension at high frequencies. As a result, this new driver enables the SR7000 to offer a frequency response ranging from 5Hz to 44500Hz with extremely low linear distortion.
Aune SR7000: Flexible suspension
The SR7000's ceramic and polymer composite cone is fitted with an independent flexible suspension that has been specially optimised for this model, ensuring that its movements are stable, even when it is moved widely. The airflow has also been designed to deliver deeper bass, worthy of high-end loudspeakers in a room with carefully considered acoustics.
Aune SR7000: Acoustic metamaterial
When designing the SR7000 headphones, Aune not only innovated with a new driver, but also with the incorporation of an acoustic metamaterial. This type of material with a negative refractive index is used here for its ability to completely absorb certain frequency bands. Proprietary acoustic prisms called ‘Dragon Scale’ have been developed by Aune to be placed in the rear cavity of the headphones, providing a more natural, open sound by absorbing the resonances that would otherwise occur in closed headphones.
Aune SR7000: Tilted acoustic Matrix
The SR7000 also benefits from the "Tilted acoustic Matrix" solution. This is a design developed using computer simulations to position the driver at an angle that allows the sound emitted to penetrate directly into the ear canal, regardless of the shape of your head, with the headphones adapting to you thanks to the foams on the sides of the earcups. This tilted design results in a wider, more accurately spatialised soundstage, enabling the SR7000 to compete with headphones with an open design.
Aune SR7000: Genuine comfort
These circumaural headphones have a concentric circle adjustment system and a very light structure for comfort even during very long listening sessions. The foams are made from a breathable material with a slow acoustic rebound.
