The headphone is completely assembled on silicone suspensions without any glue, only by noble mechanical parts made of steel alloy, zinc and manganese in low resonance ABS shells.
This headphone's double-headband system, ABS shells and weight of only 260g allow long hours of listening without fatigue.
A stylish and comfortable helmet
The Meze 99 Neo benefits from a perfectly studied design and an extremely meticulous construction. The shells are precisely machined to accommodate each component of the helmet, and treated to provide a beautiful finish. They are mounted on a thin, flexible headband made of a steel, zinc and manganese alloy, to which the self-adjusting headband is attached. The headband is covered in synthetic leather and guarantees maximum comfort. The ear cushions are made of shape memory foam, covered with the same imitation leather as the headband, and perfectly surround the ears without constraining them, helping to effectively isolate the listener from the surrounding noise.
A design thought for a restitution out of the ordinary
Each headset headset includes a dynamic transducer with a diameter of Ø40mm, offering a balanced response curve from 15Hz to 25kHz. The result is a warm and extremely accurate sound reproduction. With an impedance of only 26 Ohm and a sensitivity of 103dB (@ 1kHz, 1mW), the Meze 99 Neo can easily be powered by a smartphone, tablet, and of course a DAP or headphone amplifier. Despite the closed design, the headphones are easy to use and provide a beautiful sound stage.

The Meze 99 Neo is designed for both sedentary use with a stereo amplifier or home audio system, as well as nomadic use. The Meze 99 Neo is delivered with a Y-shaped cable, including a microphone and made of OFC copper conductors with a Kevlar-reinforced jacket. The headset is delivered with a nice semi-rigid case to store and protect the headset properly. An accessory pack including a 3.5mm to 6.35mm jack adapter, a pocket for accessories and the additional cable is also provided.
