Since it is known that a simple electrical wire is no longer sufficient to connect an amplifier and speakers, we have become accustomed to using cables with large cross sections, which has had some repercussions on the terminal blocks. There are two requirements for this type of connector: it is not only a question of accepting large cable cross-sections, but above all of ensuring excellent conductivity by means of extreme tightening. The truth is therefore not in the giant terminal blocks, but rather in the mechanical design of the connector, which is extremely robust.

The integrated retaining mechanism (WBT patent) holds the banana plug firmly in place when the front locking nut is tightened and thus not only protects the connection against accidental disconnection but also ensures extremely high contact pressure.
