Since we know that a simple electrical wire is no longer sufficient to connect amp and H.P., we have become accustomed to using cables with large cross-sections, which has had some repercussions at the terminals.
This type of connector is confronted with two requirements: Not only does it have to accept large cable cross-sections, but above all it has to ensure excellent conductivity thanks to its extreme tightness.
The real strength is therefore not in the giant terminals, but rather in the robust mechanical design.
The integrated retaining mechanism (WBT patent) holds the banana plug firmly in place when the front locking nut is tightened and thus not only protects the connection against accidental disconnection but also ensures extremely high contact pressure.
