WiFi Receiver IEEE b/g/n 150Mbps DLNA Airplay 24bit 192kHz
The Up2Stream is a WiFi module dedicated to audio use that allows you to bring WiFi connectivity to a device that previously lacked this connectivity, such as speakers or an amplifier. You can also drive a DAC throught the I2S fixed output.
This module benefits from the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n WiFi standard allowing it to achieve excellent transmission speeds up to 300Mbps (150Mbps per channel). Thus, once set up, the module will be able to ensure a stable reception of the audio signal for a clean restitution.
The module works as an access point but does not stop there since it is also compatible with AirPlay and DLNA standards but also Spotify Connect or Qplay. It is thus possible to stream your music very simply from your smartphone or your computer. The module is also compatible with the Qobuz high definition music streaming service.
In addition, the module incorporates an adhesive WiFi antenna to increase the signal's range.
With this module, wireless transmission goes hand in hand with quality audio playback. Indeed, the module supports high sampling rates, up to 24bit 192kHz. As a result, you can enjoy all your high quality files, while enjoying the convenience of wireless transmission.
Of course, the Up2Stream supports all popular audio formats such as FLAC, AAC+, ALAC, MP3, APE or WAV. It also offers multi-channel and multiroom playback for those who want to enjoy their music in different rooms.
The Up2Stream proposes to use (although it is not an obligation) the Müzo mobile application. It is a powerful player with an intuitive interface. It integrates Multiroom and multi-channel support so you can listen to the same or different music in your different rooms, or to enjoy the radio in one room and listen to your own files from another.
This application also offer possibility to separate Left and Right channel of an audio stream, for example to use 2 modules in 2 separated speakers.
Müzo is also multi-source since the application works on smartphone, tablet, but also in DLNA, AirPlay and Qplay. Finally, you can also add to all this the possibility to create playlists. In addition, Müzo also supports several streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Napster or iHeartRadio radio.
It is also possible to use the iEast Play application as an alternative to Müzo. If most of the functionalities are found in each of the applications, one will note however a different interface and a different design but especially the official support of the application of High-Fidelity Streaming, Qobuz. A point which will not fail to seduce audiophiles, in search of quality files. Of course, the application also supports streaming applications such as Spotify, Tidal, Napster, QQMusic, iHeartRadio, Pandora and web radios.
For the rest, we will find all the features of Müzo, namely remote playback control, high resolution file support, multiroom and support for DLNA, Airplay, Qplay protocols.
Before the Up2Stream can be used it requires a short configuration. Note that it will be mandatory to go through the Müzo application for the first configuration. You will find in the "Download" section of this page the user manual allowing you to carry out this commissioning.
