The Wondom BEB1 Bluetooth receiver module, part number AA-AB41163, is a small Bluetooth receiver module featuring a QCC5171 Bluetooth 5.3 receiver chip, an ES9018K2M DAC chip and a USB-C connector input. The signal can be output on a variety of available connectors: 3.5mm jack, analog output PCB connector and Toslink optical or coaxial SPDIF PCB connector, thanks to a WM8804 processing chip. The Womdom BEB1 is therefore able to support sampling rates up to 24bit/96kHz, as well as high-definition Bluetooth codecs: aptX, aptX HD and LDAC. When it comes to powering the Wondom BEB1 module, there are several possibilities: via the USB-C 5V DC port, via a Molex Micro-fit 9-24V DC connector or via a PH 9-24V connector compatible with Wondom BCPB power modules.
The BEB1 features Qualcomm's latest-generation QCC5171 Bluetooth receiver chip, enabling it to support high-definition codecs: aptX, aptX HD and LDAC. So you can enjoy wireless transmission at up to 990Kbps. An external Bluetooth antenna connector extends the range to 50m for added convenience.
The ESS Technology ES9018K2M DAC chip enables the Wondom BEB1 module to support PCM streams up to 24bit 96kHz, all with a THD+N of -120dB and a DNR of up to 127dB.
In addition to its Bluetooth input, the BEB1 features a DATA-compatible USB-C power port in UAC 2.0 protocol. This means that, in addition to powering the module, you can also transmit a PCM audio stream up to 24bit 96kHz via this USB-C port using your computer, for example.
Thanks to the WM8804 optical / coaxial signal processing interface, the Wondom BEB1 has a PCB connector output for recovering a Toslink optical or SPDIF coaxial signal.
The BEB1 module has 3 outputs (2x analog and 1x optical) and 3 power supply options. This makes it easy to implement in any system with other modules, for example.
