Area of application:

Connecting cables of this type are used wherever electrical interference fields can affect signal transmission, e.g. in the presence of electric motors with static frequency converters. This provides electronics engineers with a cable for both low and high currents that allows the transmission of signals with minimal external interference. In high-current applications, these screened cables are used to prevent interference effects from the cable network from spreading to the outside.

Special feature:

The shielding braid made of tinned copper wire combines functionality and aesthetics of the cable (transparent sheath). It is characterized by high performance and low coupling resistance (max. 250 ohms/km at 30 MHz).

Constitution :

Fine-stranded conductors made of bare copper, conductor insulation made of special PVC, layered assembly, color-coded conductors, stuffing box made of special PVC mixture. Shielding braid made of tinned copper wire, transparent protective sheath made of special PVC mixture, flame retardant (IEC 332.1).

Remark:

The special PVC P 8/1 conductor insulation is tested at a voltage of 4 kV to ensure a high level of safety. From 1.5 mm² cross-section, this cable is suitable for a nominal voltage of 450/750 V. This product complies with the 73/23/EEC directive ("low voltage directive")
