The "THE SPIRIT" adapter box of the Canadian brand 1877 PHONO allows you to connect your 5-pin connector to a Phono preamplifier with RCA jacks *.
Resolutely Audiophile in its design, it is especially useful for connecting old record players to our modern equipment, leaving them an additional chance to amaze us by their inimitable analog sound.
Da rare elegance in its genuine beech wood formwork, the SPIRIT testifies to the love of its designers for beautiful things, whether visual or auditory.
But it also demonstrates the seriousness of their approach on technical considerations: Thus the DIN and RCA sockets are plated with fine gold 24k and isolated Teflon, while each internal link is made with the help of solder containing 5% silver.
Theit also deserves attention: it encloses within it 4 conductors of silver-plated OFHC copper of section 0.40mm², surrounded by braided copper shielding, itself covered with a protective layer anti-static PET ( PolyethyTerephthalate ).
*NOTE :This interface does not allow to connect a turntable to a conventional line input (CD, TAPE, AUX ...). To operate, it requires an input on RCA jacks of higher sensitivity, accompaniedgenerally a ground connection, and which leads to a correction filter in accordance with the RIAA standard. This type of input is generally labeled "PHONO" or "TURNTABLE" on integrated preamplifiers and amplifiers.
