The 1877 Phono Arcana-Hybrid modulation cable is developed for the most demanding analogue systems of yesterday and today. The construction consists of a twisted pair of tightly braided fine wires in a HPE (polyethylene) sheath and a non-capacitive dielectric for faultless and distortion-free signal transfer. Arcana uses a multi-shielded Mylar foil construction and a tight pitch braid for 100% coverage against EMI and RFI interference. Externally, the cable uses a ROHS-certified PVC sheath followed by a black high-strength pure anti-scratch/anti-static nylon braid.


The bare conductor of the Arcana is treated by the Ultra Sonic cleaning process. The raw copper passes through an electrically charged water bath to burn dirt, oil, particles and impurities on the wire surface. This ultra sonic bath also has the unique effect of pre-grounding the cable instantaneously which would take hundreds of hours to achieve by normal use.
