The Audiophonics Contrast LFE (Low Frequency Effect) RCA cable, designed and assembled in our workshops in France, has been conceived to provide a high-performance signal transmission solution between an amplifier with LFE output and a subwoofer. It incorporates components specifically selected for low-frequency signal transmission. It uses a cable with a large cross-section central conductor and triple shielding, two ferrites and RCA connectors ensuring a high level of conductivity. Carefully crafted, it is also robust and aesthetically pleasing.
Viablue NF-B cable is perfectly suited to the design of LFE cables, since it has been specifically designed by the brand to ensure powerful, vigorous low-frequency reproduction. It uses a high-purity OFC copper center conductor with a large cross-section (5.06mm²), ensuring excellent electrical conductivity. It also benefits from triple shielding, consisting of a semi-conducting layer of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and two shields of pure OFC copper and tinned OFC copper. This effectively rejects any interference that might alter the signal, particularly at low frequencies.
The Elecaudio TE-RC90S RCA connectors on the Audiophonics Contrast cable have been designed for optimum conductivity. They use silver-plated tellurium copper contacts, offering a very high conductivity index (IACS), while at the same time being highly resistant to oxidation. The connector is insulated by a PTFE layer, limiting the impact of interference, and clad in a robust anodized aluminum body.
To keep interference, the real enemy of low-frequency signals, to a minimum, Audiophonics Contrast cable features Viablue ferrite on both sides, covered and held in place by Audiophonics heat-shrink tubing.
Finally, the cable is covered with a magnificent Viablue Flag braided sheath in black, grey and white. In addition to giving the cable a sober, classy appearance, it protects it against mechanical wear, twisting and pulling.
