RAMM Audio Elite-XTRA Premium Interconnect cable RCA-RCA Single-crystal OCC copper Floating Mass NBU 1m (Pair)
The Ramm Audio Elite-XTRA Premium is a high-end RCA interconnect cable made from audiophile-grade materials. It features 2 single-crystal OCC copper conductors and an OFC copper drain wire for ground. The conductors are cryogenically treated for enhanced signal conductivity. Ramm Audio doesn't stop there: these modulation cables also feature a particulate design, thanks to NBU (Noise Bypass Unit) technology, to obtain a floating ground consisting of the separation of the shield ground from the signal ground, making Elite-XTRA Premium cables extremely quiet thanks to reduced noise. The shielding ground, connected on one side only, acts like a Faraday cage, protecting the conductors from surrounding waves and interference.
On the connector side, reference 30891GT RCA connectors with gold-plated Tellurium copper contacts provide enhanced conductivity, as well as resistance to corrosion and oxidation.
Finally, the cable's structure is completed by AirInside© Geometry technology and several layers of shielding for lower distortion and more effective protection against EMI/RFI interference. A black braided nylon sheath covers the entire cable for a high-end appearance and enhanced resistance to mechanical stress.
As these cables are mounted in floating ground, they have a connection direction that must be respected in order to benefit from their advantages and avoid generating noise. The direction of connection is indicated by 3 arrows on the cable.
