A thermoplastic material, low density polyethylene (LDPE), is used as an insulator, which makes it possible to further increase the electrical capacity while maintaining the same dimensions.
The capacitance per meter of this type of cable can thus reach 128 pF/m.

NF-B RCA cables have been specially developed for connecting subwoofers.
