Sommercable's Epilogue cables feature two Neutrik XLR connectors, male on one side and female on the other. The cables are of high quality design and are based on four copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.14mm². Each of these conductors is covered with a thin layer of carbon before being wrapped in insulation. This layer of carbon not only dissipates any static electricity that might build up during handling of the cables, but also smoothes the boundary between conductor and insulator, avoiding micro-voids and irregularities that could lead to slight capacitive instability. The result is cables with a very low capacitance of just 35pF, ensuring no crosstalk. Finally, to protect your signal transmission against electromagnetic interference, these cables have a braided copper shield, ensuring no EMI/RFI noise.
