Moondrop Discdream
CD Player Micro SD 32bit 384kHz DSD256
Moondrop's Discdream is a CD player that combines nostalgia and modernity. With its innovative technical architecture, it delivers excellent sound performance. Its design combines modern minimalism with vintage materials and details.
A high-performance CD player
The Discdream features professional servo architecture. The selected motor and chips ensure stable, uniform rotation speed. A high-quality laser head ensures efficient reading. The electronic data buffer circuit incorporates a damping system to greatly reduce the impact of vibrations on CD playback.
High-quality audio circuits
The heart of the Moondrop Discdream embeds a Cirrus Logic 32bit MasterHIFI audio decoding chip to provide a clean analog signal. An independent headphone amplifier circuit provides comfortable power. Six linear voltage stabilization chips ensure a stable electrical signal.
High-end components
The Discdream incorporates numerous high-end components. These include Ruby aluminum electrolytic capacitors and three NDK oscillators controlling the clock, all perfectly adjusted and tuned.
Headphone amplifier
The Discdream's 3.5mm headphone output delivers a comfortable 500mW, enough to accompany the majority of headphones and earphones on the market.
An additional line output in 3.5mm jack format with an output level of 2Vrms enables integration into a conventional HiFi system.
PC Sound Card & File Player
As well as being an excellent CD player, the Moondrop Discdream can also be used as a USB sound card for computers. It supports decoding of PCM streams up to 384kHz and DSD up to DSD256.
A Micro SD slot also enables Discdream to be used as a file reader.
