The CD player produced impeccable sound when connected via Toslink to my DAC. Unfortunately intermittent mechanical noises from the laser stepping motor were audible from 3 m away, and intruded upon quiet passages in the music.

The Thinkya JA-310 is a compact, attractive CD player that also acts as a USB file player. With its blend of vintage and modern aesthetics, it is both an excellent audio device and a beautiful decorative object, which will blend effortlessly into any living room. Its 12.7mm-thick MDF wood and plastic casing effectively reduce vibrations. In terms of connectivity, the Thynkya JA-310 features a USB-A (USB Host) input for connecting a storage device (MP3 files only), as well as a Toslink SPDIF optical output and a 3.5mm jack output. The turntable also incorporates a Bluetooth 5.1 chip, making it capable of wireless transmission of the audio stream to a receiving device, such as an amplifier or Bluetooth speakers.
The Thynkya JA-310 is equipped with an operating mode selector, a volume control and the usual play/pause, stop, previous and next controls, all integrated into the casing.
