This type of potentiometer is superior to models with carbon track because the signal crosses only 2 metal resistances of high precisions. Equipped with high-quality film resistors, it is ideal for design where the improvement of preamplifiers instead of classic models from ALPS or compatible. It will also be indicated for the design of passive attenuator of high level of transparency.

This potentiometer is of type made before break. It is therefore able to switch without making any contact noise between each position.

Bien a écouter mais pas à manipuler.
Placé en pré passif à l'entré d'un ampli, je n'ai pas de reproches à lui faire coté musique. Par contre à l'utilisation, le ressenti dans les doigts et le bruits produits lors de la rotation font vraiment camelote.
Donc pour un bloc de puissance dont on veut juste calmer l'entrée c'est parfait et peu couteux, par contre, pour une gestion du volume au quotidien, je déconseille.
