This kit consists of a motorized attenuator, a LED matrix display and its IR remote control. The attenuator uses a precision resistor mounted in parallel with a mechanical switch with 1% SMD resistance. This resistor is connected to the potentiometer, which, depending on its position, connects more or less the output to the ground and thus varies the volume. It is therefore the R-In resistor that conditions the minimum input impedance, when the potentiometer is on position 0.
