This discrete voltage regulator has been designed to replace an LM7805 IC model (or LM7806 / 7809 / 7810 / 7812 with adjustment), in order to provide your audio system with a cleaner electrical signal. Its value of +5V is adjustable in the range +5V to +12V by means of a potentiometer. This controller provides low ripple, low noise and fast response. The controller only uses high-quality components such as a Toshiba low noise triode, Vishay resistors, VX Tantalum capacitors or a Bourns precision potentiometer.
