Capacitor 630V 2.7µF
The MR range has been designed following a 2-year programme between ClarityCap and the renowned Acoustic Research Centre at the University of Salford. Nothing was left to chance: the research included all the materials used in the manufacture of audio capacitors, existing performance data and analysis of manufacturing processes and techniques. The aim was that the effect of mechanical resonance within a capacitor should be controlled and not include the effect on sound quality.
The MR line exploits all the knowledge acquired throughout the research program and offers a superior quality product based on science and research. In practice, the MR range is recognized by industry experts, integrators and audiophiles for its "spatial" effect.
The capacitor consists of a non-standard Polypropylene film, a high purity Metallised Aluminium film, housed in a coloured acrylic tube. The whole forms a capacitor that eliminates almost all internal resonances. The tinned Copper terminals are hand welded.
A guaranteed tolerance of 3% ensures consistency between the components of a balanced system and reproducibility throughout the production cycles.
