The HiFiBerry DAC+ DSP combines both a digital to analog converter based on a Burr Brown DAC chip - with a digital input and output, as well as an analog output - and a powerful 300MHz DSP processor. The latter, working with SigmaStudioStereo, will allow you to adapt the sound reproduction of the module to your listening and your equipment. It has been designed to work with a Raspberry Pi, with a 40 pins GPIO input.

DSP Analog inputs (P4)

The analog inputs allow a direct connection to the DSP. However, it is not an ADC. The inputs are designed to use an external analog controller as variable resistors to control a DSP program. It is therefore necessary to create your own DSP program to use this function.

I2S EDAC Output

This output provides the I2S digital data stream that is used by the built-in DAC.

DSP Digital inputs and outputs

This connector gives access to additional I2S inputs and outputs of the DSP.
