Digital Interface I2S SPDIF for Raspberry Pi
The Ian Canada ReceiverPi module was designed to extend the digital connectivity of DACs and streamers operating with a Raspberry Pi. The module integrates an isolated Coaxial S/PDIF input and an Optical S/PDIF input supporting audio streams up to 192kHz. The GPIO input allows you to retrieve an audio stream up to 768kHz from the Raspberry Pi. An external I2S/DSD input is also available, supporting PCM streams up to 32bit 768kHz and DSD up to DSD1024.
The interface is able to switch automatically between the inputs, depending on the received signals and a control panel (not supplied) can also be associated with it. A dedicated GPiO port allows the use of control software based on Linux or a web interface.
For improved performance and/or features, it is possible to combine this interface with the FifoPi reclocker, HdmiPi receiver and TransportPi interface (sold separately). The interface can also work without Raspberry Pi, directly with an external DAC.
