AUDIOPHONICS UCT27 1.04 - 16Bit / 48KHz USB Stereo Sound Card Module

New iteration of this excellent module sound card, this version integrates a connector USB male molded and a plastic case.

The UCT27 sound card module is based on the PCM2704 integrated circuit, a small electronic prodigy that synthesizes the know-how of TEXAS INSTRUMENTS and its illustrious subsidiary BURR-BROWN.
Miracle of integration, the PCM2704 alone assumes the roles of USB 1.1 high speed controller (12mb / s), and Digital Audio / Analog Converter, all in a surprisingly small space.

Ofby its architecture and its simplicity, it requires no software or driver to be able to interface with a computer station: simply connect it to a USB port, and this one will be automatically detected and installed by the great majority of the current operating systems (Windows XP / Vista / 7 - MAC OS 9 / X - Linux).

The processing capabilities of the PCM2704 allow it to process signals at a sampling frequency between 32 and 48 kHz on 16 bitsmaximum.
In addition, the binary signals injected into it will be systematically re-clocked over a locally generated 12MHz reference clock signal before passing through amulti-sampling digital filter (x8) .
This construction,exclusive to TI and named SpAct, has the advantage of minimizing the harmful influence of the USB connection and its asynchronous nature on the figures of jitter.

On this model the jack base has 2 types of outputs:

• An analog stereo line level output on the 3.5mm jack
• Optical SPDIF output in Mini Toslink format
