This module AKM AK4495EQ will offer you the opportunity to evolve your DIY creations to enjoy an ever higher sound quality.
This will allow you to link & nbsp; all your digital players to your channel via the digital interface or via a USB module to submit an analog signal specific to your audio installation.
Equipped with a 32-bit AKM AK4497EQ DAC, this module takes advantage of the famous Velvet Sound architecture. This makes it possible to develop sound details that are usually too far back to be audible by limiting the distortion. Added to this a 32 bit digital filter, this architecture allows the reading of PCM files up to 384 kHZ.
The AKM AK4495EQ chip is mostly a DSD native decoder, so it's an ideal choice for high definition enthusiasts.
This is a high-end system that remains very accessible.
This DAC benefits from precise regulation thanks to a voltage regulator LT1963 accompanied by a torque LM2941CS-1A. Each of these components is individually equipped with safety devices against overheating, short circuits and overvoltages. An effective solution to eliminate single-point control problems.
Two low-noise LME49710NA operational amplifiers complete the array with optimized operating voltage and current for high fidelity use.
These operational amplifiers manage to pick up the signal with an extremely low distortion rate (0.00003%).
Note that these AOPs are interchangeable. So you can easily replace them to experiment with different treatments and refine the integration of this DAC into your channel.
To inject a clean and clean analog signal into the rest of the chain, special care has been given to the RCA output. The latter is constructed of gold-plated copper for high conductivity guaranteeing an undegraded signal to the amplifier.
The Velvet Sound technology available natively in the AK4497EQ DAC embeds 6 distinct filters. (Super Slow Roll-off, Slow Roll-off Short Delay, Slow Roll-off, Low Dispertion, Short Delay Sharp Roll-off and Sharp Roll-Off.) These possibilities will help integrate this decoder into your audio installation with respect to other components' specificity.
This module has a dedicated slot which can receive a USB interface (Amanero) and thus benefit from DSD & I2S decoding capabilities
Not all USB interfaces support DSD. We recommend the model XMOS U208 CPLD USB-B to SPDIF I2S Interface 32bit/384kHz DSD512 which supports DSD.
You will need to use a straight 2x10 round pins connector to connect the USB interface.
