This simple but beautifully designed balanced DAC module is based on the integration of a pair of PCM1794A digital to analog conversion chips, each dedicated to a channel. These allow it to support sampling rates up to PCM 24bit 192kHz, while delivering a balanced, round and musical sound. This parallel integration also ensures an improvement of the dynamic range and the signal/noise ratio, these reaching 132dB. This conversion section is followed by a beautiful output stage, including four AOP 5532DD and six AOP 5534D.

As for the connections, the module offers an I2S input on solder pads as well as a balanced XLR output and a single-ended RCA output. Another output can be added thanks to the soldering pads present between the connectors already in place.
