A single output circuit

The Conductor 3X GT uses a custom designed output stage, specifically for this device and therefore different from the generic circuits on most DACs on the market. This allows the Burson DAC to use the wide bandwidth of the Vivid PDUs. Combined with the brand's Max Current power supply supplied with the device, the 3X GT offers a unique sound signature, with an extremely high level of detail.

An advanced digital stage

The Conductor 3X GT's digital interface features a perfectly optimized design, from its XMOS USB receiver to its Qualcomm Bluetooth module. Featuring a custom Thesycon driver, the USB receiver has unparalleled processing power and accuracy, streaming DSD512 and 32bit 768kHz PCM audio signals with ease. The Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth receiver supports the high-resolution aptX HD and LDAC transmission codecs. It pushes Bluetooth playback beyond CD quality and ease of use to its highest level.

Pn addition, the all-new OLED display and neat interface provide an intuitive user experience. Its solid red aluminum knob provides delicate and precise volume control.

An oversized power supply

The beating heart of the Conductor 3X GT is 5 sets of Burson Max Current power supplies. These MCPS are pushed to the limits of their potential to provide powerful and responsive amplification. The heat emitted by the components is efficiently dissipated by the optimized enclosure and the on-board active cooling using an extremely quiet fan from Noctua.

Differential audio circuits

Vivid V6 discrete PDUs have an excellent reputation for outstanding performance. The Conductor 3X GT uses six Vivid PDOs in its fully differential output stage, allowing it to achieve incredible transparency.

excellent DAC - pré ampli et ampli casque
Que du bonheur dans l'écoute à partir de toutes les fonctions de cet appareil. Très bon ampli casque avec mon casque Audeze LC2.
DAC très précis dans la restitution de la scène sonore, de l'étendue du spectre sonore, de la dynamique et de la justesse des timbres. Il est relié en XLR à un ampli V70E Octave pour une lecture HI RES sur Qobuz via Bluesound.
