FX-Audio X6 MKII is an ideal solution for your compact, affordable and high-performance audio systems. It works both as a DAC with volume control and headpthone amplifierand offer multiple ways to connect to various devices (USB, Coaxial, Optique & Bluetooth).

Its analog and digital circuits use high quality components to achieve great audio reproduction in its price range. More specifically it works with an excellent ESS SABRE ES9018 conversion chip. and has a Bluetooth 5.0 QCC3008 interface which supports apt-X protocol.

High quality digital / analog circuit

At the heart of the device is a digital to analog conversion chip ES9018 with Hyperstream achitecture and frequency / time correction digital filters. This technology is particularly famous for its ability to limit distortion and jitter to respect your audio files down to the smallest detail.

In this configuration the X6 MKII offers a rich and detailed sound with PCM audio files up to 192kHz - 24bit.

Its analog stage is equiped with a OP275 operating amplifier  (dual-bipolar / JFET) and a OP2134 (FET) offering a considerable headroom on its RCA output.

The headphone output uses a TPA6120 high fidelity amplifier with considerable power  (940mW @16ohm) 
capable of supporting models of headphones that are usually too demanding for standard audio equipment.

Wired and non-wired connectivity

The DAC X6MKII has a USB input on a USB-B connector controlled by a CM6642 interface. The latter allows it to work directly with  audio streams from your computer. This USB connector is not used for powering the X6-MKII, which will avoid most of the typical audio noise if your PC does not have an isolated USB interface.

The device also offers two S / PDIF inputs on Coaxial and Optical connector which open many possibilities for integration with your different digital audio sources (TV, game console, CD player ... ect.)

Finally, a QCC3008 interface allows the DAC X6-MKII to directly receive the audio stream from all your devices equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. Its reception circuit is in Bluetooth 5.0 standard and supports apt-X protocols for redoubled audio precision.

A short pression on the button located on the front panel is all it takes to switch input sources. Two set of LEDs keep the user informed of the active source as well as the current sampling rate. 

Its RCA Stereo output with 2Vrms level is used to connect the DAC X6 MKII with a preamplifier, a power amplifier or active speakers. 

A second 6.35mm jack connector located on the front of the device allows you to easily connect your headphones.
