It builds on the strengths of the award-winning Pro iDSD, while offering improvements for even higher performance. The extremely versatile Pro iDSD Signature combines the functions of a DAC and preamplifier, network player and headphone amplifier.

A concentrate of technology

The Pro iDSD Signature features a four-stage DAC to provide exceptionally rich and accurate sound reproduction. The powerful XMOS XU216 X-Core 200 USB interface processes the incoming USB signal and allows the Pro iDSD Signature to play high-resolution audio streams - up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD 512, 2xDXD - and also provides full decoding of MQA files.

In addition, thanks to the Crysopeia FPGA digital engine, the Pro iDSD Signature is capable of upsampling PCM and DSD streams to DSD512 and DSD1024. All functions of the iFi Audio Pro iDSD Signature can be simply controlled with a free mobile app.

A full range of connectors and connectivity

The Pro iDSD Signature can connect to a source in many ways. On the network side, it can connect via WiFi with support for AirPlay and DLNA protocols and access to many streaming services, or via Ethernet, connected to a local network to access files on a NAS or computer. It is also possible to connect a USB storage device or a Micro SD card. The DAC also provides a USB-B 3.0 input, an AES/EBU input and a combined optical and coaxial input.

For its outputs, the Pro iDSD Signature offers single-ended RCA and balanced XLR as well as three front-panel headphone outputs: one in single-ended 6.35mm jack format, one in 3.5mm jack format with S-Balanced technology and one in balanced 4.4mm jack.
