iFi Audio Zen Air DAC
DAC Burr Brown XMOS 32bit 384kHz DSD256 MQA
iFi Audio offers with the Zen Air DAC an efficient and affordable digital to analog converter, even including an amplified headphone output. Its conversion stage is based on a Burr Brown chip, associated with a 16-core XMOS USB interface, allowing the device to decode high-resolution audio streams, up to PCM and DXD 32bit 384kHz as well as native DSD up to DSD256. The Zen Air DAC is even compatible with MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) files, allowing you to enjoy high quality files at a reduced weight, especially via the Tidal streaming platform.
PowerMatch & XBass+
Zen Air DAC also incorporates two technologies that allow it to adapt to your audio system and your listening experience. The first one, PowerMatch, allows Zen Air DAC to adjust the gain level of its headphone output according to the impedance of your headphones. The second one, XBass+, allows you to adjust the bass level according to your listening equipment and your personal taste.
Analog volume control
iFi Audio also includes an analog volume control in its Zen Air DAC. This allows a non-destructive adjustment of the sound level, unlike a digital control.
