SMSL offers with the C200 a DAC as compact as performing, benefiting from a careful design and a connectic able to answer to the majority of integration needs. We find there an ES9038Q2M digital/analog conversion chip offering a precise and clear sound restitution, associated in particular to a second generation USB XMOS interface, allowing the support of high resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512. It also has a coaxial and optical input, as well as a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.0 receiver, which allows you to enjoy your music wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet. Moreover, it supports the codecs of high resolution transmission aptX, aptX-HD and LDAC to achieve a very good sound quality in wireless.

On the output side, there are single-ended stereo RCA and balanced TRS jacks, as well as two headphone outputs in 6.35mm unbalanced and 4.4mm balanced jack format.

vfm amp/dac with trs output.
Paired with the edition xs and my monitor speakers everything works perfect. Very fast delivery 24hr first time experiencing that really nice. I only hope that the device has longevity. Recommended.

Très bon DAC pour le prix
Satisfait de cet achat.
Son clair et précis, construction qui paraît solide, montage qualitatif.
Branché sur un PC Windows 10, sans pilote, avec câble optique (S/PDIF), le tout relié à un ampli Marantz;
Testé aussi avec USB, fonctionne parfaitement (sans pilote);
Appairage Bluetooth sans difficulté.
Seul bémol, le câble d'alimentation électrique très rigide et surtout très court. Sa longueur ne permet pas d'atteindre une prise au sol depuis une console/meuble de hauteur standard. J'ai dû le remplacer par un câble d'alimentation PC classique et identique mais plus long.
Audiophonics : livraison rapide et emballage de qualité; La notice jointe en français n'était pas celle du C200 (mais celle du DO100). La notice originale en anglais est de toutes façons très succincte.

Excellent Dac ampli casque
Ce DAC/Ampli casque tient toute ses promesses, la dynamique est très bonne, vraiment neutre, des détails à foison, la séparation des canaux bien marqués, la scène sonore bien large, il y a mieux pour la profondeur mais elle existe…
Bien timbré, il y a plus « musicale » mais parfois au détriment de la transparence, impitoyable avec les mauvais enregistrements…
Je recommande ce Smsl C200 , qui pourra s’intégrer dans un système haute fidélité.

Excellent appareil
Un excellent DAC ! La qualité audio est vraiment au rendez vous et cela se ressent ! La séparation des canaux est impeccable, les entrées fonctionnent très bien, hormis peut-être le Bluetooth lorsque je suis connecté en LDAC où il y a quelques rares petit sauts mais rien de grave, d'autant que ma configuration (lecture de fichiers FLAC depuis un NAS à distance via un VPN) doit jouer aussi sur ça ...

La télécommande est simple, et à mon goût intuitive, il y a 100 crans pour le volume donc on peut vraiment le régler au dB près ...

Une seule petite remarque, le filtre PCM n'est pas supprimable : il semblerait que ce soit utile pour la liaison optique, probablement pour supprimer les hautes fréquences, bien que cela me semble étrange car c'est du PCM utilisé par la liaison optique et non du DSD, rien n'est expliqué dans le manuel, bizarre ...

Bref pour l'instant un super appareil avec bien sûr une puce ESS qui offrent pour moi la meilleure sonorité (notamment dans les aigus).

DAC très recommandé !
